Star Washington is the Founder & Creative Director of Shef's Catering, a Southern California catering company known for creating elevated dining experiences with thoughtful hospitality.
A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Pasadena, Star has spent more than two decades serving corporate clients, nonprofit organizations, weddings, and private celebrations throughout Southern California.
Since founding Shef's Catering in 2015, she has built the company around a simple belief: great hospitality is about more than serving great food—it's about creating meaningful moments where people can gather, connect, and be fully present.
With a commitment to delicious food, beautiful presentation, and exceptional service, Star and her team create experiences that clients remember long after the event is over.

At Shef’s Catering, we have a fabulous commercial kitchen equipped to handle all of your event catering needs. If desired, we can also utilize your kitchen or event space on site. Our expertise is making sure that your event exceeds the expectations of your guest.
We offer vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free menus as well, so please don’t be afraid to request!
